For the first time ever, I had a post deleted from the 'vine. Why, you might ask? Per the seeder of the article (and therefore, the default moderator), my posting was a violation of the CoH because it was "pornographic" in nature. Some background:
I'm a vulgar bugger. Granted, I vote Republican, mostly. I'm an upstanding member of my community. I even occupy a position with my daughter's PTA. Still, the ol' sailor in me occassionally beckons forth and I utter phrases that would make the Marquis de Sade appoplectic with indignation.
Can't help it.
I hold two bachelors of science in engineering and an MBA. I have more CEU's than most any other two people in my profession. I can recite von Goethe and Shakespeare with an appropos grace when need be. Yet, still, I manage to make the 'F-bomb' part of my common vernacular? Why? Because it is just in my nature to be a crude and crass piece of shit, no matter how much book-learnin' they cram down my goddamn pie-pipe.
So what what pornographic filth did I write? Was it something that Bob Guicione would publish as one of his infamous letters? Nope. Just me responding to some person who was whining that the right-wing disapproval of some talentless hack comedian was tantamount to censorship. My response:
What hypocrisy? He wasn't censored; he was freely allowed to say his piece. Now we can say ours.
My piece: "I think he's a dickhead for what he said and I hope he gets a bad case of the crabs and scratches his balls off before he procreates, assuming that his johnnyseed-bag isn't usually used for pounding against some pre-op tranny's taint."
There, see? No censorship. I think the guy's a cock-sucker and I'm sure he'd hate me, but neither of us were prevented from saying so.
So what say you? Is it pornography or just me being crass. I would be interested in your response.
