Looks like Sen. Obama is more favorably viewed by a country that has recently retaken an adversarial overtone towards the US. Does this mean that he's likely to have a more concilatory effect on relations between the two countries? Not likely. As one Muscovite stated: "(With either candidate), it will be very hard relations between United States and Russia."
However, it does concern me when I hear that a nation that doesn't have the best interests at heart for the US is favorably leaning towards one of our candidates, it gives me pause. You have to ask why they feel that way. Why would Pravda (a more or less state-run newspaper) publish favorable articles about Obama and then scathing ones about McCain and Palin.
